The legend of Haralik is the most ancient of the innumerable stories that the occitan likpas (los guindols) have published since the 11th king of the phallos, more than 11 centuries ago.

Haralik was a marvellous island, where lived 14 races of likpas. But the phallos made war to them during thousands of years, as they did not liked the races. They so much searched for more powerful weapons that they invented the terrifying souleyannes, forged from the «92nd matter» in hellish furnaces. They did like gigantic suns in the sky (From where their occitan name of souleyannes) and their blazing blast could kill millions people at a time. So the gentle and inoffensive paradise likpas with coloured feather antennas disappeared in a fraction of a second, their island burned until calcinating the rock.

The souleyannes also poisoned the air, water and soil with an invisible poison which made ill the children to take birth. And the phallos were the first to disappear, together with the great animals such as the moutous with their woollen cloth. And the remainder of the population of Haralik was shrinking inexorably.

All life could have disappeared without a small group of scientilikpaters and ecolikpaters retrenched in the vast underground citadel of Antakaralik. Thanks to them, sane children could take birth again to repopulate Haralik, and redo of it a green and happy world, despite the tremendous destruction. But they could save only six on fourteen likpa races.

The legend of the Mother of the likpas is linked to that of Haralik, as it is said that the Mother came from Haralik. And the guindouls also tell that hey descent directly from the «Hils de la Maïre» (sons of the Mother)...

This legend of Haralik was generally considered as a pure invention. However the guindouls always stated that it was true, as they hold it directly from the Mother. And they never bettered it with time, contrarily to the numerous more recent stories, the very funny guindolades. So numerous phallos started expeditions on ships to try to find back the marvellous island of Haralik. Few returned.

The likphysicists have recently found that they could build enormous bombs with the 92nd element, uranium. This strange coincidence with the «92nd matter» restarted the debate on the origin of the likpas and of the reality of the island of Haralik, however without bringing really new elements.

Facing the deterring hazard of a war using souleyannes, the ULO has decided to forbid any new search on the 92nd element. The element 92 mines, in the Blueberries Hills, were declared forbidden zone. The likpas promised to follow this forbidding. The phallos too stated not to want to build souleyannes. But since, numerous evidences brought suspicions on their real intentions. Especially, there are since some years geologists trying to explore the Blueberries Hills, since the terrible black guards of the Grombrandrin confiscate the ancient books on Haralik and the souleyannes, and that a series of movies such as «Foreign», «Likfilles», or «Dependence day» depicts Haralik as a black and terrifying world...
