Built in 1887 and constantly upgraded since, the Lick Observatory is at the origin of numerous important discoveries. Today, one of its most likpatous projects is the PANOSETI, a faceted telescope (a bit like a bee's eye) designed for whole sky detection of fast light events, radio pulses or SETI. Maybe they will find LikEarth?
Originally, the Likorne is one of Haralik's giant animals, as big as a cow, but with only one horn. So it is not a myth, someone on Earth certainly saw a Haralik's likorne, but nobody believed him. Patchouk likpatiensis, family hornies, order boobals. The tradition wants that every artist draws a likorn, so here is my version.
This is a blatant and shameless plagiarism of the Likpas. I contacted the greatest bisiness lawyers in Europe and in the USA, who all said that indeed, all the laws on copyright are on my side. However they also added that against an awboss, I stood no chance.
But here is my revenge: with this small drawing, each time people will go on facebook, they will be unable to avoid seeing «lik» on the small button.
