Les likpas ne sont vraiment pas content qu'on concentrationne leurs copains. Aussi ils vont préparer un grand coup: attaquer le camp Phalitz à plus de 600 et plein de matériel. Ce qu'ils vont trouver est affreux, encore que c'est très éducatif de le voir, puisqu'on nous a fait aussi le coup sur Terre. Après une violente mais inégale bataille, les likpas chargent les prisonniers dans leurs sacs, laissant sur place toutes leurs munitions. Ils les enflamment, déclanchant un terrible incendie qui ruine le camp.

PHALLO SOIR

Un camp d'entraînement des Gardes Frontières, le camp Phallitz, a été entièrement détruit par un mysterieux incendie cette nuit, à deux heures du matin. Plusieurs gardes ont été tués par l'explosion de munitions. Les journalistes de Phallo Soir n'ont pas été admis sur la zone, classée à haute sécurité.

Snow was observed scientifically!

Boobette, our PH.D. student into a visit to the meteorological observatory of the Breasty Mountain, following the bilateral scientific cooperations enacted by the Mahaphallo, could observe «frozen rain» for the very first time! This place is propicious for this, from the higher altitude.

And, surprise, this frozen rain appears on the ground under the form of a white powder lawer, somewhat sticky, which also adheres to tree branches, forming a scene of a great beauty.

So the Haralik legend about snow is no longer an irrationnal belief, and it becomes a scientifically established fact. We can no longer say that whose who claim to see snow are kooks or cultists.

But it was also a terrifying scene, bringing a compelling feeling of the global cooling of our planet. Meteorological data gathered since now 600 years show beyond any doubt a slow but constant cooling of the climate, about three degrees into this period. But the most disturbing is that the phenomenon goes faster and faster, to the point of posing a threat of a cold death of our world, into a time frame of about 150 years. The cause of this fateful evolution is still debated, but a popular hyspothesis is the lowering of the CO2 level, from its massive absorbtion by the plankton which gives its green colour to the ocean. However this does not explain the acceleration...
