Maggie and the group of Boobettes rescued from the PSSC arrived in a beautiful mountain valley, where they set up a makeshift camp. They spent the evening around a campfire...

The campfire is almost out, when suddenly the spooklik appears, swooping down on Maggie!
The spooklik persists on one of the Boobettes, then on the injured one, then on Maggie.
The next day, the wounded Boobette is healed, while the one adombred by the spooklik discovers new sensations through contact with nature... She will be the first Great Poetess!
Some months later, a village is built, with a blacksmith and cultivations!
Time has come to meet the Wild Likpas! Everyone is gathering at the Mead of the First Encounter...
