The surroundings of the Spooklik Mountain are far too well guarded for any kind of investigation, and the Likpas have learned nothing. They were even not able to get close to the mountain. In more, the Black Guards understood that they are there to investigate. So everything seems lost... Suddenly, Arphallo, the owner of the Spooklik Inn, confines them to their rooms for the night, because he has heard the noises under the mountain. Only LIkpato is still awake, when suddenly...

When they arrive at the inn, Arphallo explains that there have been the noises under the mountain, and that they must stay in their rooms without electricity.

This sound is better with headphones or bass loudspeakers.

The above page, created in 2007, already featured a shaking effect, done with using a window.moveBy function. But the web browsers quickly removed this dangerous function, which allowed to take control of the user's screen, such as a window which always remains under the mouse. I took advantage of the updating of this site to pester ChatGPT and recreate this shaking effect, this time with a harmless JavaScript function which only affects the image: img.style.transform = `translateY(${y}px)`

Likpato realizes that he cannot move, while a red glow approaches outside, through the window...
Suddenly, the spooklik is in the room, lighting it up in red! But Likpato also hears moans and sounds of chains behind the door...
The next day, Arphallo wakes everybody up: two Black Guards have been found dead, burned from the inside, so the Likpas are in danger and they must leave immediately.
Here come again the moans and clanking of chains! Opening the door, they find the Likpa child they met the day before in the barn, still wearing an iron collar around his neck and a piece of chain.
In a gesture of humanity, Arphallo frees the young Likpa from this iron collar.
Likpato realizes that the chain was melted! So his experiences during the night were not a dream! What experiences? He signals that he has seen the Spouklik and he wants to leave, what Arphallo strongly encourages.
A truck brings the Likpas back to town, along with the young Likpa. The drivers, Occitan phallos, insult them throughout the journey, which for them is a sign of friendship.
Arrived in town, Likpato who saw the spouklik explains that they have an appointment, without the others understanding. And sure enough, Boobette arrives right at this moment!
Everyone meets up at Boobette's house with her baby, where they get to know each other. Then Likpato who has seen the spouklik announces that he is going to speak.
Likpato announces that the Great Likpa was INSIDE the spouklik! And that he provided a lot of information about his new status, and especially about what will happen NEXT.
