If Maggie's Domain was not violently attacked and slandered like the Great Likpa's Village of happiness, it was nonetheless the victim of incredible ill will and underhanded hostility. Worse, Maggie was not rich like the Great Likpa, so the financial situation of the Domain was more than precarious...

Thus, everything relies on Likpato Sworker, who in more has to bear bullying from the other sworkers...

Likpato sworker, the sole financial support of Maggie's domain, faces hostility from his fellow workers and his bosses... so much so that they ignore his safety warnings!
This evening, there is no Likpato Sworker in the likbus! The silence of his comrades makes Maggie angry!
Maggie enters into his factory to find out where Likpato Sworker is! The secretaries are not proud...
Likpato Sworker's unit has exploded!!

The previous pages allude to a real catastrophe: the Flixborough explosion. It was caused by incompetent modification of a high pressure tubing. Today wikipedia gives a relative benign account of the actions leading to the explosion, but I remember that, by the time, science reviews gave harsher explanations involving pride, bullying and layoff threats against the aware workers.

Maggie is mad with grief, because she liked Likpato Sworker. In more, she is the only one who can swork to pay for the domain! But to do that, she has to be away for six months...

 

It is an unpleasant swork, with in more sociopathic work mates. But the worst thing is that Maggie does not know what is going on in the domain, and she only receives erratic mail...

 

It is in these terrible conditions that Maggie learns of the murder of the Great Likpa!
One of her swork mates asks about happiness and poetry. Maggie is surprised, as she is one of the main sociopaths' proxies. But you never know, Maggie explains...
Alas it was only a crude trick to make fun of her, by touching her intimmacy! Behind the idiotic laughter, however, another discussion emerges: inexplicable things have happened around the death of the Great Likpa! And now it is the phallos who are afraid!
The newspapers announce the destruction of the Village of Happiness, sold by Jude. But they also start about denegating the unspecified events which would have happened at the death of the Great Likpa!
